District Administration Jhabua Achieves World Record for Massive Plantation Drive

For organizing a plantation drive to plant 20 lakh seed balls in a single day on 16 June 2024 at different locations of Jhabua, Madhya Pradesh, India to spread the message to fight against the effects of global warming.

Jhabua, Madhya Pradesh – Mr. Santosh Shukla, President and CEO, World Book of Records has announced that The District Administration of Jhabua, under the leadership of District Collector Neha Meena, IAS, has been recognized by the World Book of Records, London, for an extraordinary achievement in environmental conservation. On June 16, 2024, the administration successfully organized a massive plantation drive, planting 20 lakh seed balls in a single day at various locations across Jhabua, Madhya Pradesh.This monumental effort aims to combat the effects of global warming and promote environmental sustainability. The Provisional Certificate of Records was bestowed to Neha Meena, IAS by Officials of World Book of Records, London Mr. Rajesh Shukla and Dr. Rajeev Shrivastav.
