International Society for Krishna Consciousness of Kanpur (Uttar Pradesh) gets included by World Book of Records

Kanpur : Solicitor Santosh Shukla (President and CEO, World Book of Records) has announced that International Society for Krishna Consciousness of Kanpur (Uttar Pradesh) India has been included by World Book of Records

For organizing a mass event wherein 6450 students participated in a youth event on the theme of Mental Awareness on 7 April 2023.

The certificate was bestowed to Mr. Prashant P. Ingole (President- ISKCON) by Dr. Pradeep Mishra along with dignitaries. 

Significantly, the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), otherwise known as the Hare Krishna movement, includes five hundred major centers, temples and rural communities, nearly one hundred affilated vegetarian restaurants, thousands of namahattas or local meeting groups, a wide variety of community projects, and millions of congregational members worldwide.

ISKCON’s founder, SrilaPrabhupada, has drawn appreciation from scholars and religious leaders alike for his remarkable achievement in presenting India’s Vaishnava spiritual culture in a relevant manner to contemporary Western and worldwide audiences.
