Rajasthan Minister Madan Dilawar Honored by World Book of Records for Massive Tree Plantation Drive

Ramganj Mandi, Rajasthan – Madan Dilawar, the Minister of School Education & Panchayati Raj Department of Rajasthan, has been recognized by the World Book of Records for an extraordinary environmental initiative. The recognition comes for planting 8,217 saplings of various species under the “Amrit Paryavaran Mahotsav – 2024,” all within a span of just 60 minutes on 7th August 2024. The event took place across 186 schools and 153 villages in Ramganj Mandi, with the plantation drive occurring simultaneously from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM. This massive undertaking highlights the commitment of the Rajasthan government to environmental conservation and sustainable development. The program was orchestrated under the leadership of Mr. Avichal Chaturvedi, IAS, the State Project Director & Commissioner of the Department of School Education, Government of Rajasthan. His direction and coordination were pivotal in achieving this monumental task. On this occasion, Government Secretary, School Education, Shri Krishna Kunal, Director, Secondary Education, Shri Ashish Modi and other officials were also present. The World Book of Records has certified this accomplishment, with the certificate presented by Mr. Pratham Bhalla. The announcement of this achievement was made by Mr. Santosh Shukla, President and CEO of the World Book of Records, further acknowledging the significance of this large-scale plantation effort. This recognition not only emphasizes the importance of environmental initiatives but also sets a precedent for future efforts in sustainable development and ecological conservation across India.
