Significantly, Shri Sanjay Singh is a 1990 batch Indian Police Service officer of the AGMUT Cadre. In New Delhi, he has worked as Deputy Commissioner of Police, North West District, Traffic and Security Unit, Joint Commissioner / Northern Range and as Special Commissioner Armed Police, Police Headquarters and Recruitment Cell, Law and Order (North Zone), Licensing and Transport, Law and Order Western Zone, as well as IGP/Goa, IGP/Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Director Rajya Sabha Security.
Presently he is holding the charge of Special Commissioner Legal & Licensing, Perception Management and Media Cell, Project Implementation and Technology Divisions New Delhi Police.
