Coastal Security Group, Tamil Nadu Police gets included by World Book of Records

Dr. Sandeep Mittal, IPS, Additional Director General of Police, Coastal Security Group, Tamil Nadu Police, India received the certificate of World Book of Records.

Central india : World Book of Records has included Coastal Security Group, Tamil Nadu Police, India for establishing first ever Marina Beach Lifeguard Unit to prevent accidental drowning of tourists in the sea at Marina Beach in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.

The certificate was bestowed to Dr. Sandeep Mittal, IPS by hon’ble guests Justice V.S. Kokje, Former Governor of Himachal Pradesh and Chief Justice of Rajasthan High Court graced the ceremony as Chief Guest and Mr. Santosh Shukla (President & CEO, World Book of Records, UK) presided over the ceremony, Chancellor Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Founder – Noida Film City and President – Marwah Studios, New Delhi and others of the award ceremony held in Indore, Central India.

Significantly, Dr. Mittal, an IPS Officer of 1995 Batch, completed B. Sc. (Honours) Geology with University Gold Medal and M.Sc. Applied Geology with University Gold Medal, both from University of Delhi.
